Object Oriented storytelling

The scenario in the “Be Your Own Robot” web-app makes  use of a story engine for interactive, non-lineair narrative experiences. The engine is using an object oriented approach to organise the output to its viewers/readers. Interactions by users can lead to instant or timed follow-ups, or triggers can ‘float’ in limbo for a while, to be picked-up later when new content is added to the mesh network of content pieces. In this way open ended stories can be written, allowing writers to keep on working on a story while it is being experienced by an audience.
